Founded in 1903 as the Institute of Chartered Secretaries Women’s Coterie, the WCGA has grown into a dynamic collective of female governance professionals. Today, we are the Women’s Corporate Governance Association (the “WCGA”), a network dedicated to empowering female company secretaries and governance professionals across all industries and sectors.

Joining the Women’s Corporate Governance Association means more than just a line on your CV; it’s an investment in a support system that grows with you. As the governance landscape shifts, our benefits ensure you have the resources and the “external team” you need to succeed.
Membership is open to all female company secretaries and governance professionals subject to an application to the WCGA Committee and an annual subscription fee of £30.
